I am currently in college to be an elementary teacher. These are some books that I read as a child that I really enjoyed and ones I plan to use in my future classroom.
A Bad Case of Stripes

Camilla Cream loves lima beans but no one else does and she wants to fit in. When she becomes very ill, she must be herself to get well again. I would use this book to teach students to accept each other and bully awareness.
