Children's Literature
I am currently in college to be an elementary teacher. These are some books that I read as a child that I really enjoyed and ones I plan to use in my future classroom.
Coraline
Grade Level: 6-8
Lexile Level: 740L
Coraline sets off to find what is on the other side of the small door in her new house. When she finds it, she thinks it is wonderful and is having a great time. However, what she finds is truly horrible and Coraline must find a way out. I would use this book as a read-aloud to my students during free time.
